Nice articles on our book

A recent news article on our book is published by University of Illinois. Tamer Başar is affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) as a Professor and Tansu Alpcan is ECE alumnus (MSEE ’01, PhD ’06).

A related article again from Illinois titled "Book Corner: Help in fighting network security threats" also describes our book and the approach adopted in it.

Another Endorsement

Our book has received a nice endorsement from Prof. Nick Bambos (Stanford University, USA), who is a well-known expert in networking, risk management, and network security.

A decision and game theoretic approach has recently emerged as an important tool for addressing key issues in network security and risk management. This book provides a comprehensive account of this approach by two experts that have pioneered its development and demonstrates its high potential. It should be studied by anyone who aims to develop a thorough and multi-faceted understanding of the subject.

A nice endorsement

It is my pleasure to share the following endorsement of our book by Jean-Pierre Hubaux (EPFL, Switzerland), who is a well-known expert in network security.

Network security is a topic of crucial relevance for the information society and has been addressed by many books. Yet, modeling the reasons specific security decisions are made is a research topic still in its infancy. By its unique and in-depth treatment of the subject, this book is a landmark towards this ambitious goal.
